Ácido láctico

A mild alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), today mostly made by fermentation of sugars. It loosens dead skin cells in the outer layer of the skin (stratum corneum), giving smoother and more radiant skin. Lactic acid is also part of the skin's natural moisturizing factor and helps bind moisture.
