Acide glycolique

Glycolic acid is a form of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that is extracted from the sugar in various plants and fruits. That is why it is often called fruit acid. AHA acids are often used in exfoliating skin care, as they have the ability to dissolve old, dry skin cells on the skin's surface and in this way stimulate cell renewal.
