The rating is based on effectiveness, role in the formulation and risk of sensitivity, using publicly available information from independent sources in the EU and the US. Each ingredient is rated within its own function. A preservative with three stars is a good preservative, not a weaker active ingredient.

Here you will find all the ingredients we use in our skin and body care products. They are ranked based on their effectiveness, their role in the formulation, and their potential to cause skin sensitivity.

Some ingredients work actively on the skin, while others have a supportive function in the product—such as providing fragrance, acting as a binding agent, or improving texture.

The ranking is intended as a helpful guide for you as a consumer. It is based on publicly available information from independent sources in the EU and the USA. All ingredients are ranked within their respective categories.
